How Powerful is the 2023 Jeep Compass?
The 2023 Jeep Compass features a standard powertrain across its entire lineup This powertrain is the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine rated at 200 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Compass also offers the Jeep Active Drive Low 4X4 system for its Trailhawk trim, which provides added traction, low range, and a 20:1 crawl ratio. Speaking of the Trailhawk, this is the most capable trim level of the lineup, and offers many different off-road features! For example, the Trailhawk features the Selec-Terrain Traction Management System, with multiple different modes to help you handle conditions such as mud, snow, rocks, and more. Other features include hill-descent control, front tow hooks, and underbody skid plates.
What Features does the Jeep Compass Have?
The Jeep Compass offers several different design themes throughout its trim level lineup, ranging from sleek and simple to rugged and sporty. The lineup starts out with the Sport trim, which includes features like 17-inch wheels, and standard LED headlights. It has roof rails to help you carry extra cargo, and heated exterior mirrors that come in handy on snowy days. Next up, there's the Latitude, which adds some unique features such as fog lights, automatic high beams, and a keyless entry system with a push-button ignition. The Latitude LUX was new for 2022, and it's back again this year! This model has features like remote start, leather interior, and heated front seats. The Limited is even more refined, with ambient interior LED lighting, and dual-zone automatic climate control, while the Trailhawk has a sporty look to match its capabilities, including a black and red hood decal.
